Brake pit and play plate securing
Aluminium motorised pit cover for brake pit
For limit the risk of falls from height in one's heavy goods vehicle workshop and thus secure the work of its staff, we have worked with our client and in partnership with the CRAMIF to equip this inspection pit with a rigid pit cover.
Securing the pit entrance
In the foreground, we have decided to condemn the pitfall (between the door and the braking bench) and to move the main access to the pit just after the braking bench.
To close this access and secure it, we have covered the pit entrance with three aluminium platforms, which can be very easily removed in case of maintenance for cleaning.
Brake caliper inspection pit cover
From the braking bench, we have a first motorised cover, the storage of which is integrated between the bench and the access staircase, and which comes secure the pit up to the playing field.
The cover opens using the control unit located at the sectional door opening unit.
the installation of the remote-controlled motorised cover for the pit, while still remaining within the field of vision, ensures the perfect staff safety and Eliminate all potential risks of musculoskeletal disorders. (TMS).
Pit protection, pitch side
Still stored at the back of the staircase, a second motorised cover comes protect the pit output and up to the play plates.
To secure the passage between the gaming plates, we have designed a Custom rotating platform which allows the operator, once in the pit, to take up their position to carry out their diagnostic operations
