Gauchy Transport secures its bus pit
The Blue Ribbon Group is equipping its workshop with a PVC inspection pit cover
The company of Gauchy Transport belonging to Blue Ribbon Coach Group located in Villefranche-de-Rouergue in the Aveyron department, installed a pit safeguarding system at the end of 2018 to protect its employees from all risks of falling from height.
In this workshop dedicated exclusively to the maintenance and repair of buses and coaches, the inspection pit has a workshop area. Hammer-shaped, the pit measures 12 metres in length with a widened rear area allowing mechanics to have maximum comfort when working on the rear of the vehicles.
For Secure this garage pit, We have developed a made-to-measure PVC cover that allows the curtain to be tensioned via a tube resting on the angle profile of the workshop area.
For the workshop area, galvanised steel guardrails, also made to measure, secure the whole setup.
The combination of a PVC pit cover and guardrail presents itself as the ideal solution for effectively and cheaply securing bus pits.
