Prefabricated pits: Renault Trucks Used Heavy Goods Vehicles Centre

Renault Trucks COPL installs 6 maintenance pits in its St Priest (69) workshop

These 6 pits of 10m will be used to carry out maintenance on tractors taken back at the end of contracts for resale on the European market.

Each of the 6 pits is equipped with Pneumatic motorised aluminium covers, large 2m niches for deck and gearbox oils, but also able to accommodate a grease reel.

The used oil will be evacuated using collectors fitted with a diaphragm pump, simplifying its transfer to the storage tank. Two further pits will also be installed:

1. A first rapid diagnostic pit for all vehicles entering the workshop. This means positioning all new trade-ins over the pit for a Quick visual inspection of both the exterior and the underside of the chassis.
2. The second is hot-dip galvanised steel this ditch will be dedicated to the recovery of wastewater from the washing area with a lifting pump connected to the hydrocarbon separator.
