Installation of a tachograph garage pit at CCA Contrôle Ecquevilly

The company CCA Contrôle d'Ecquevilly has entrusted us with the installation of a new control track dedicated to the tachograph. Until then, it had a single bay for checking and calibrating tachographs.

To meet growing customer demand even more quickly, the company is now equipped with a second pit.

Customers in the CCA Controle catchment area can now have their vehicles inspected on the same day, or even half a day, without having to make an appointment.

As the company's workshop already existed, we dismantled the floor of the bay, broke up the slab using a digger and a rock breaker, and then dug the excavation to install their new diagnostic pit.

After just 2 days, we had positioned the pit above the excavation and all the ducts for the energy supplies: compressed air, ventilation at the bottom of the pit, lighting and tachograph bench.

Over the next 3 days, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, we poured the concrete until it reached the workshop slab. By Friday evening the pit had been installed.

On the Monday of the following week, the VDO Siemens were on site to install the braking bench and idle rollers in custom-made steel boxes.

The tachograph bench was up and running in just a few hours, thanks to millimetre-accurate framing, enabling rapid installation of all diagnostic equipment.

This is undoubtedly one of the undeniable advantages of our prefabricated steel garage pits Delivered fully equipped with 400lux IP64 lighting, compressed air network, ventilation network at the bottom of the pit, staircases, waste water collection tank and completely watertight.

For our customers and for CCA Contrôle, it is above all peace of mind and the assurance of being equipped with a product that complies with the recommendations of the INRS, the CARSAT and the Ministry of Transport.
