Installation of a fully equipped prefabricated garage pit in an existing workshop

The company Disk installed at Mouans-Sartoux In the 06, they wanted to install a prefabricated inspection pit in their existing workshop.

Just two weeks of work were enough for Xpertive to complete all the work and create this new span.

In the first week, the bricklayer from Dicsit performed the excavation work, breaking up the slab and carrying out the civil engineering for the future location of the pit. In the second week, Xpertive was involved in delivering and installing the customer's prefabricated pit on a turnkey basis. This repair pit was fully equipped with a Pneumatic motorised aluminium pit cover, explosion-proof lighting to 450 lux standard, a compressed air network with quick connectors, a Sump ventilation, the networks for the evacuation of wastewater to the hydrocarbon separator, the’transfer of used oils and the arrival of new oils in the pit.

We also provided a 15-tonne low-loader at the edge of the pit allowing the mechanic to be able to to lift any heavy vehicle to carry out brake testing operations but also allows for the realization of the Removal of heavy components such as a gearbox straight into the pit.

To avoid noise pollution, we installed the pit fan outside the building. This sump fan allows you to extract and to renew the pit air 15 to 20 times its volume per hour to meet the recommendations of the INRS and CARSAT.
