A pedestrian pit cover for regular use
This pit curtain is made of extruded aluminium slats resistant to a pressure of 1500 kg/m². This system allows pedestrian access and the passage of your rolling tools such as tool carts and unloaded pallet trucks. Your pit is then completely safe and you can move around the workshop without any danger, thus avoiding any risk of workplace accidents.
Secure your pit simply and effortlessly
Our aluminium pit cover comes in two versions: Manual and Motorised.
Generally, We always recommend the motorised version its use is very simple (via a control box), safe (because you are away from the pit) and without any constraints. Opening/closing your pit is done by simply pressing a button (Close or Open), This way, you avoid all musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs). and offer your staff genuine comfort and safety at work.
The simpler your security system is to implement, the more it will be used, and the more secure your workshop pit will be.
We can also offer you our pit cover with a manual locking system. This version is adapted for small garage pits and whose use is infrequent.
Via a strap, you pull or hold back the cover to fully or partially close your pit. To lock the cover, the head blade is equipped with a push button, which you will press with your foot to lock the cover in the desired position. To unlock, simply pull the strap or the handle located underneath the head blade.

Our pit cover system is designed to measure. Initially, we will visit your workshop to advise you and assess the potential civil engineering works to be carried out before installing your cover. A very precise measurement survey of your pit will then be carried out by us in order to produce your made-to-measure cover. The extruded aluminium blades will be machined according to these dimensions and we will produce the rail that will serve as the running track for your protective curtain.
Our rails adapt to any type of pit And we always find a solution to integrate them into the corner. We will therefore be able to secure your garage pit!
Minimal footprint: end-of-pit storage behind your staircase
The cover folds using a U-shaped plate, called a storage guide. It is positioned at the end of the pool like an accordion, or «in a wallet». If possible, depending on the characteristics of your pool, we will store your cover at the rear of your steps for minimal obstruction. The folded cover will take up between 0.75 m and 1.20 m depending on the size of your pool. Double storage can also be considered, with two independent covers allowing you to cover up to 48 m of pool (2x24m).
As a reminder, the INRS recommends having two full-width stair access points. For garage pits measuring less than 10 m, and in addition to a main staircase, a fixed pit ladder will be tolerated.
