You must have 18 m of usable space at the bottom of the pit. To this length, you must add the footprint of two staircases. If you wish to equip your pit with a cover system, you will need to add the footprint of the storage unit(s). Without a pit cover, your pit will need to be at least 21 m.

The brake testing bench is used to evaluate the effectiveness of a heavy goods vehicle's braking system. The axis of your bench will be installed at least 5 m from your sectional door (at least 4 m from the beginning of your pit).
