Calais SNCF station secures its maintenance pits with Xpertive

Xpertive develops bespoke safety solutions for pits.

Calais station is a railway station located in the Hauts-de-France region. It is the most important station in the city, situated a few hundred metres from its historic centre. It generates annual traffic approaching 1.2 million passengers.

This project, carried out in a railway environment, required a complete adaptation of our solution to meet the technical constraints and strict requirements of SNCF.

Our teams have designed an installation fully bespoke with

• specific angle brackets,
• Creation of a dedicated chassis for engine integration,
• Storage and recovery system suited to the site's operational constraints.

All studies and technical modifications were carried out in-house by our design office, headed by Bastien JOINEAU in order to ensure perfect integration of the pit cover while maintaining our primary objectives:

a Total tank sealing

and

maximum productivity
