Durand Services is constructing its finest heavy goods vehicle workshop.

The company Durand Serviceof the group G-Trucks The company has built a new multi-service workshop on the outskirts of Lyon. Its new maintenance and repair workshop is located at 41, avenue des frères Montgolfier.
Originally, there was a very large storage warehouse which has been completely renovated, as only the metal structures have been retained. So to speak, everything else is new.
This is a magnificent workshop with 2 distinct activities, heavy goods vehicles and light commercial vehicles, which has been built. The heavy goods vehicle workshop has no fewer than 10 bays, including 2 bays dedicated to tachograph inspection over a pit and 1 for preparation for MOT testing with a brake testing rig and play detectors, while the workshop dedicated to the light commercial vehicle activity has 10 workstations equipped with 2-post lifts from the brand Rotary.
Durand Services has entrusted us with the responsibility of supplying and installing 5 inspection pits for their renovation project. This includes 1 pit of 15m and 1 pit of 36m dedicated to the repair and maintenance of lorries and buses, 1 braking pit with a brake roller and plate, and 2 tachograph pits, all of which we have installed for them.

The pits have all been delivered with pneumatic motorised pit covers installed at factory manufacture.

The company Xpertive carried out the turnkey installation, from excavation to embedding the pits in concrete and installing all conduits for energy supplies, compressed air, oils and other fluids, electricity, and ventilation.

Today, after five months of opening, the workshop is a resounding success. The heavy goods vehicle workshop is full, and the MOT preparation is also performing well. Durand Service has demonstrated its ability to develop even in highly competitive geographical areas where competition is fierce.
