Renault Trucks COPL installs 6 maintenance pits at its workshop in St Priest (69)
These 6 pits of 10m will be used to maintain the tractors taken back at the end of the contract to be put back on the European market.
Each of the 6 pits is equipped with pneumatic motorised aluminium coversThese include large 2m recesses for deck and gearbox oils, as well as a grease reel.
Used oil will be evacuated using skimmers fitted with a diaphragm pump to simplify its evacuation to the storage tank.
2 other pits will also be installed:
>> The first rapid diagnostic pit for all vehicles entering the workshop. The aim is to position all new trade-ins on a pit for a rapid visual inspection both from the outside and under the chassis.
>> The second is made of hot-dip galvanised steel this pit will be dedicated to collecting waste water from the washing area with a lift pump connected to the hydrocarbon separator.
